Pinnacle of success

Lynn University honors Dr. Audrey Gregory '11 and Adjunct Professor Rachel Pauletti at its 2023 commencement ceremony.

Lynn University recognized 977 graduates at its largest-ever commencement ceremony on May 4, 2023. Nearly 6,000 attendees proudly watched graduates walk across the stage and celebrated two special honorees.

Distinguished Alumni

Audrey Gregory '11

Lynn selected Audrey Gregory, Ph.D., RN, as its 2023 Distinguished Alumni. Gregory graduated from Lynn in 2011 and currently serves as president/CEO for AdventHealth's Central Florida Division–North Region, which encompasses a growing network of care across three counties in northeastern Central Florida.

Outstanding Teacher of the Year

Rachel Pauletti

Rachel Pauletti, who received the 2023 Outstanding Teacher of the Year award, encourages learning by introducing students to real-world applications. Pauletti uses various resources—including media—to demonstrate how psychological concepts can explain human behavior in consumer decision-making, politics, education, parenting and professional environments.

Graduates were inspired by two speakers at the 2023 Commencement ceremony.

Genesis Morlabaez '23

Genesis Morlabaez earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at Lynn, a career path sparked by her calling to help others. While growing up, Morlabaez was inspired by watching her father, a United States Marine, sacrifice to care for those in need.

Joel Podolny

In 2009, the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs tasked Joel Podolny as founding dean of Apple University—the company's internal professional development program. Podolny discovered a need for educational products that could meet learning outcomes while fostering equity and curiosity among students and faculty.
