Enrollment We kicked off the 2022–23 academic year with the largest class in our 60-year history. More than 1,260 new students joined Lynn, bringing total enrollment to over 3,500.
Brand awareness Lynn's new marketing campaign highlights student potential and the power of boundless learning.
School spirit and traditions The Center for Student Involvement hosts monthly block parties in Christine's Park. Students enjoy food trucks, live entertainment and a nice break with friends on the first Friday of each academic block.
Student support
- Our new executive director for student health and wellness, Debra Futterman, is leading a student wellness task force to build comprehensive wellness programs. The Snyder Center for Health and Wellness will open this spring.
- Graduate students now have access to Navigate—a mobile app to keep students on track to graduation. All students can use Navigate to review important tasks, schedule appointments with their adviser, review their course schedule and more.
- More than half of undergraduate students have gained at least one skill through the new co-curricular transcript platform. It allows students to demonstrate the skills they gain from participating in student organizations, community service hours and other educational experiences outside of the classroom.

Enhanced residential facilities More than 300 upperclassmen and graduate students are now at home in the new Capstone Apartments.
Signature programs The Social Impact Lab expanded its mission of educating changemakers by merging several community-focused programs into one space, and Times Higher Education (THE) recognized Lynn for its long-standing commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Academic leaders and difference makers
- The university named Gareth Fowles '99, '01 vice president for enrollment and university advancement.
- Hospitality industry veteran Kristell Lowe joined as new vice president for campus operations to enhance the campus experience for students, employees and visitors.
- Shaun Exsteen '93, '98 became dean of academic support and accessibility.
- Faculty earned recognition for their achievements in teaching, scholarship and service.

New programs
- Our new 10-month MBA fast-tracks the traditional MBA curriculum by acknowledging time spent and experience garnered in the workforce.
- We launched more options for online students with six new online undergraduate majors this fall.
Learning pathways Academic Affairs is offering even more programming on Fridays. Students can choose how they want to enhance their learning through real-world experiences, completing labs, earning course credits or many other options for every interest and need.
Impactful partnerships
- The Eugene M. and Christine E. Lynn College of Communication and Design expanded its reach with a new strategic advisory council and a leading-edge NFT museum.
- Admission and the College of Arts and Sciences collaborated with Broward Sheriff's Office to develop a custom M.P.A. program for officers to refine their leadership skills.
